Limited Edition
Help-Fund-an-Awesome-Show
Print Sale

Justin is working to raise money for a show he is curating and showing at Snowflake/City Stock here in St. Louis. He's keeping the list of artists under wraps for now as he is waiting to hear from one more photographer, but rest assured, it's going to be perfect. How can you be a part of such an important event ? I'll tell you. You can go to Justin's photo blog and buy one of his prints. People, these things are priced to move! And you can spend your days staring at the back of a witty blog-writer's head.

Father of the Year

Reason #1: Eliot's nose was dripping that clear, teething drip. Justin looked around for a suitable wiping material, and when none was available, he swiped that snot with his fingers and wiped it on his bare leg.

Me: "Would you do that for me?"
J: "Absolutely not."

Reason #2: After a particularly hairy diaper change, there were some poop bits remaining on the changing mat. Without even thinking, Justin picked them up with his bare fingers. Have you met Justin? I'm not allowed to wear my shoes in the house, and he's handling feces?

Me: "Those are poop bits. You just touched them."
J: "I know, weird."

Let's hear it for the boy. The other boy.

In the interest of fairness, I am going to take this opportunity to toot the horn of the other most important boy in my life, my husband, Justin K. Butter Visnesky.

In addition to being a handsome, thoughtful, funny, smart, handy, witty, awesome husband, and an amazing father, he is a talented guy. He's blowing up at the moment, at least that's what I like to think, and I would like to tell you all about it.

And now, for a little shameless plugging. First, his photography was featured in Issue 319 of Milk Magazine. Unfortunately, none of us (at least none of us in the Western Hemisphere) can pick up a copy because it is an arts and culture magazine in Hong Kong. That's China! Additionally, just this week he met with the Ellen Curlee Gallery here in St. Louis and now they are representing him. Beautiful. And of course, you can always check out his website to see for yourself.

That's all for now, but I'm sure I'll have more to report in the near future. In the meantime, I'll continue extolling the wonders of the newest and littlest Baby Butter. Just let me get a little sleep for now.
